Luke St Pierre

Luke St Pierre graduated with Honors from the United States Air Force Academy in 2021, receiving a B.S. in Political Science with a minor in French. As an undergraduate, he researched the varying effects of natural resource wealth on different socioeconomic groups. He also participated in a military exchange program with the French Air Force Academy (L’École de l’air), which solidified his proficiency in the language as well as introduced him to important foreign relations skills. Now a Second Lieutenant, St Pierre is attending Yale as his first assignment through the USAF Academy’s Graduate Studies Program. He will mainly explore new U.S. policy initiatives in francophone Africa, particularly the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Central African Republic. After completing his studies, St Pierre will begin training as an Air Force Intelligence Officer.
