Jacqueline is interested in the conservation of large carnivores, particularly how landscape use by endangered carnivores impacts these efforts. She is predominantly focused on African ecosystems, where interactions between multiple threatened carnivore species plays a significant role in landscape use. Her research focuses on the landscape use of African wild dogs outside of protected reserves in South Africa, providing valuable information for wild dog conservation, wild dog population management, and human-carnivore conflict.
