Yale has one of the largest collections of African language materials in North America. These materials (books, videos, CD-ROMs, audio cassettes, and other media) compliment and enhance the personalized and intensive classroom instruction available to each student.

Yale is also committed to using its expansive resources for the development of innovative educational projects promoting African languages. Current projects include:
